The Most Beautiful Haiku With Ugly Illustrations

This book is a continuation for the earlier project. Instead of studying the transition from analog to digital, this one studies the relevance of rules. Haiku is a traditional form of poetry with strict rules about the form and content.

The book experiments how the illustrations change the content of modern haiku, where the abstraction traditionally is a key element.

Aphorisms from the edge of the walk-in closet

The book is an experimental study about the way how new technology creates possibilities where traditional edges become blurred.

“Make to order” -services allow an existence of a real physical object that yet still does not exist. There is a book that is real and can be ordered and touched and smelled, yet still in reality it does only exist when one orders it. This is very different from the traditional concept of books and publishing.

To underline the interaction between digital and physical, the content of the book was taken from the One Way Ticket -project. This creates a reverse cycle where digital becomes tangible yet still it does not yet exist.
