This is another study about transformation. The key piece, a “splicer mask” is taken from a video game. The composition started with the mask itself and evolved involved into a photograph and resulted in two oil paintings, where the second one is an analog composite between the photograph and the first painting.

Across the alps is studying similar subjects as Bliss with a cow. It’s a different view on the relation of analog and digital era. It’s a “remake” of a historical painting altered digitally and then painted oil on canvas.

Bliss with a cow is an oil painting, that shows a background familiar to millions of Windows XP users around the world.
The work is examining the difference with analog and digital, as well as reminding us how the changes in technology can make us to forget something, that was part of our daily lives for years.
